To be concrete, Principal Assistant Xu Zuitai made a plan for character education for freshmen from the 10th grade. Meanwhile, Deputy Director Xu Haihong of the Senior High School Division was specifically responsible for the organization and implementation of character education. 

Overall, the character education urges freshmen from the 10th grade to cultivate such values as compassion, courtesy, courage, self-discipline, honesty, self-esteem, justice, perseverance, respect for themselves and others as well as patriotism.
